Which is it?? We have a new challenge at Stamptacular Sunday for you. Diamonds or Pearls? Choose one and use it on your project. I chose pearls for mine. Using the crinkled ribbon for the first time and guess what? I cut my finger when I was cutting. It is sooo deep that I could use stitches there, but they probably dont put stitches in your finger so I taped it really tight, but it's been hurting a lot. Every time I look at this card I cringe LOL.

I embossed blue coredination cardstock, I like it because the core is different colour so I sanded it after it was embossed. I decided to go simple, I was tempted to add flowers and stuff, but I stopped myself, I think I like simple cards these days teehee.

Hello everybody!

This week's challenge at Tickled Pink Stamps challenges is SOMETHING NEW! I used a very new image from the new release called LIL GREEK GODS LAD APOLLO LESTAT, but I also used my oval dies that are new, this is the big giant set of ovals that you need big giant machine to cut them LOL. I have the big shot pro and I love these big dies! What else is new? Oh the mesh thingy, I bought a big roll of it in wedding section of Michael's LOL, and I love it. One more new thing for me would be simplicity of this card. I do simple cards of course but usually not this simple, and I absolutely love how this one turned out.

How Can I use my reward points?
Reward points are basically same as cash - only better, because at Digi Doodle Shop, each point is worth 10 cents. For example: if you have 3 points that is equal to 30 cents, and because you get 3 points for every stamp purchased, your points can add up quick!

Can I save my reward points?
Yes, points can be saved and used as you choose. You can save all accumulated points to use on one future order or you can use some points now and some later.

When are new points added to my customer account?
New points are added to customer accounts as orders are processed. Please be patient with us, as we will manually need to add points to your account. We will move pending points to accounts on a daily basis. You may not see your points immediately, but we will add them as soon as possible.

How often will I receive reward points?

New challenge at digi Doodle Shop this week, and and and!!! good news! I can add links to my posts again!!! WOOHOO!! I was thinking about getting new blog! So glad this is fixed!
So here is my card for our challenge , if you look closely you can see "little artwork" of my 2 year old on this card! She drew little line on the baby's hand with magic marker! I really liked this image so decided to use it anyway.
My 2 year old is a little monkey, she closes the door on my craft room and quietly tries to "craft" when she doesnt think anybody knows she is there! LOL I try to keep my important stuff away from her reach but sometimes I just can't catch everything.

I tried to make a shaker style card, this is my first attempt and it was real fun, my kids love this! LOL.

Hello friends! Today I would like to show you how you can make necklaces or embellishments from your favourite stamps using shrink plastic!
Supplies needed:

Shrink plastic

Scissors

Your favourite stamp

Ink

Copic markers (I think colour pencils work as well, my kids used them on their matte shrink plastic, I used the shiny clear shrink plastic so I would say only markers would work on that)

Hole punch (if you are making necklace out of them)

String, beads (if you are making necklace)

1. I stamped my images on the sheet of shrink plastic, I had few sheets sitting around without instructions so I was pretty much guessing as I went. I used Palette ink, it's a hybrid ink pad, it said it was OK to stamp on glass or shiny surfaces as long as it was heatset afterwards. I think if you use staz-on ink pad you dont need to heat set.

2. Here are my stamped images on the shrink plastic. After I stamped the images I cut them out fairly close to the image, but it's not really necessary because when it shrinks that space around the image shrinks as well.
3. I coloured my images with copics. I coloured on the other side of the stamped image because I chose not to heat set my ink, since this will be baked in the oven. I punched the hole at the top of the image (I made these necklaces for my daughter's birthday party).
4. I lined my cookie sheet with aluminum foil (just to be safe and not wreck my cookie sheet) and placed the shrink plastic images on the cookie sheet. I heated the oven to 300F. and baked the images for 2 minutes.
5. This is what the image looked like when it was baked.
6. Little comparison of images before I baked it and after it was baked.
7. I added 2 jump rings to the hole in the finished piece with pliers. I placed the finished piece on a string (it's leather cord) and added few caps and beads and knotted the cord.
8. Here are more images I made into necklaces for the party.
9. Images after baking.
10. Finished necklaces.

Well that's it!!! This was very easy and very addictive! You dont have to use them for necklaces, if you dont punch the hole you can use them as little embellishments on your cards or projects.

I tried to use heat gun on some of them, but it's not for me! LOL. it's hard and scary when it starts shrinking, and I burned some. So baking was the way to go for me!

For this week's challenge you will create any card that has ONLY the colors black, orange, and purple AND has something that pops up/out when you open it! Of course you can use white cardstock to make sure your image stands out but please keep it to a minimum. This can be ANY THEME you want as long as you use the required colors...the scary part is when you open it and it pops up at you! Oh…and don’t forget to stamp!

Hi everybody

OK first of all, instead of exclamation mark there should be question mark, but.. my 2 year old played with my keyboard again and now this is what I get when I try to write question mark: ÉÉÉ

I know there is a way to fix it but I dont know how, so hoping once I get off the computer it will fix itself hahahaha.

Ok now for the card, at Tickled Pink Stamps challenges this week we challenge you to create masculine card!!! Well that is a huge challenge for me! And I believe that you can use flowers even on masculine cards hehehehe so I tried hard to incorporate them. I coloured the image with distress inks (very hard still) and used blue and green with a touch of the other colour which looks more red than brown, LOL. here is a new challenge from Stamptacular Sunday for you!!! Today we are distressing!!!

Which I love! I love to tear paper, ink it, distress edges with my distress tool. For this card I chose to use distress tool on the papers, you might wonder why the image is blue/purple, well my original thought was to go with those two colours for my card, but later I changed my mind and went with these pretty papers.

Hello everybody

so today I had to wake up at 5:30 am because my oldest started swimming on Saturdays (they give them some time to adjust to the schedule so they add swim practices gradually, now she is in her full schedule though). She starts at 6AM on Saturdays, I dont mind driving her, it's very peaceful outside at that time, nobody on the roads, you get a lot of ideas for new cards hahahahaha. Well now I am back after I picked her up at 8:30AM and my second daughter is dropped off for her swim practice (of course they dont start at the same time, it would be way too easy for me wouldnt it?), she starts at 9:30, I have about an hour before I have to drop off my child number 4 for her dancing lessons and pick up daughter number 2 from swimming so I thought I might as well draw a winner LOL.
I used Random.org to choose a number between 1 and 22 (I had one entry that couldnt add link to linkz) and the winner is number 14 (I tried to bring it here but well that is just beyond my technical abilities for now)

Hello!!!
Here is my card for the first challenge at Saturated Canary. It is a sketch we had to follow with optional Halloween theme, which I chose only the sketch because I wasnt in Halloween mood LOL, but most importantly my flowers are home/handmade by me lol. oh I love them!!! I found a tutorial online and had to try it! Here is the tutorial. It's using Tim Holtz Sizzix die, but you dont have to use the same die (I did, and I used 2 of his flowers, not just the small flower, but the bigger one as well), you could even cut the shape out by hand (it only takes 4 layers)

Hello today!
The Tickled Pink Stamp challenge this week is to RIP! Well that's up my alley! I love ripping and destroying paper LOL. For this card I ripped a page out of little "notebook" full of designer papers and made the edges even more ripped with my fingers. And then of course I ripped piece of paper by hand, even the mat of the image is like ripped edge even though I used Spellbinder for that. I decided to use black and white and red colour combo, really like those colours together.

Well here is another card using Tickled Pink stamp, and chipboard. I cut out the chipboard shape using Tim Holtz Sizzix die. And then I distressed it using Tim Holtz distress ink. Using older papers and coloured with copics. I decided to make an easel card and went fairly simple with it again. The photo might not be too great, it's quite dark and ugly outside today.

Today I have transparent card for you, I used Tickled pink stamp, cut it out, and mounted on the chipboard that I distressed with Tim Holtz distress ink. I am not happy with the colouring, I had to leave for couple hours and it wasnt finished, when I got back, it didnt go well LOL. I actually think it's the paper I use, I used to love it, now it seems to give me hard time, I use X-press blend it paper. Might have to look around for something different.
